Sports Hall of Fame

The South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame was formed to celebrate and preserve the achievements of athletes and builders whose sporting roots reach back to the Township of South Stormont.

The 2009 South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame Inductee Banquet was held at the Lancers Centre in Ingleside on September 19.

The South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame Committee would like to thank our 2009 Inductee Banquet Sponsors.

The 2008 Inductee Banquet was held on September 20 at the Lancers Centre in Ingleside with 12 residents of South Stormont being inducted this year. The 2008 Silent Auction raised close to $1000. We would like to thank all who placed bids for your generosity and offer congratulations to the winning bidders.

Photographer Larry Ruston of GLR Imaging was on hand to take pictures of the inductees and their families. Thank you Larry for the wonderful pictures of the award presentations.

The 2007 inductees banquet was held on September 22, 2007 at the Lancers Centre in Ingleside with a Silent Auction during the social hour and dinner. Over $650 was raised. Thank you to all who bid on the auction items and congratulations to those with winning bids.

The inaugural inductees banquet was held on September 30, 2006.

If you know of a noteworthy athlete whose sporting roots reach back to South Stormont why not nominate them as a candidate for the South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame.
