The October 2018 Municipal Elections featured internet and composite paper ballot voting options. Voters needing assistance were encouraged to attend at Town Hall, being the Voter Help Centre. Pursuant to the Municipal Elections Act (MEA), staff operated a Voting Station at the Woodland Villa Long Term Care Facility to assist and promote opportunities for residents. The voting period ran from October 17 through Election Day, October 22.

Voter turnout for 2018 was 48.2%, down from 48.6% in 2014. Please see voter participation history back to year 2000 in the table below:
