BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED FOR NEWINGTON DRINKING WATER SYSTEM

Important Public Notice for all connected to municipal water in Newington. 

The Township of South Stormont and the Ontario Clean Water Agency would like to inform residents that the Eastern Ontario Health Unit has LIFTED the boil water advisory that was issued on February 10, 2026. 

Samples indicate that the water is potable and meets all the quality standards for drinking water.
