Group Purchasing

Surplus Equipment and Vehicles
Occasionally, the Township may deem equipment and/or other goods as surplus and those items are disposed of through a public auction. Items are typically sold “as is” and “where is” and there is no warranty or guarantee. All available auction items are advertised on the GovDeals website.
Procurement By-law
The Procurement By-law aims to state the Township's goals and objectives for procurement activities, explain the roles, responsibilities, and authority of the Council and Township's officers and employees in procurement, and follow the rules of subsection 270(1) of the Municipal Act and relevant trade treaties.
RFP No. 21-2026: Long Sault Arena Canteen
Submissions will be accepted physically and by email until: 2PM, local time, on Friday, May 29th, 2026.
The Township of South Stormont is requesting proposals for Canteen Services at the Long Sault Arena, in accordance with the specifications outlined in the procurement documents.
The procurement documents are available at the main office located at 2 Mille Roches Rd, Long Sault, ON, K0C 1P0 commencing on May 6th, 2026. Documents can also be requested by email at bids@southstormont.ca. The Township of South Stormont, at its own discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any compliant or non-compliant proposals and advises that the highest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted.
Questions will be received until 11:59:59pm on May 21st, 2026, and shall be submitted through email at bids@southstormont.ca. The Township reserves the right to distribute any and all questions (anonymously) and answers pertaining to this RFP by addenda. The final addendum, if applicable, will be issued by 11:59:59pm on May 22nd, 2026. It is the responsibility of the proponent to ensure that they have received all procurement documents.

RFT No. 16-2026: Black River Rd Rehabilitation
Electronic Submissions will only be accepted via the Biddingo online bidding platform until: 2:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Hard copy, emailed, faxed, or late submissions will not be accepted.
The Township of South Stormont is requesting bids for the Black River Rd Rehabilitation, in accordance with the specifications outlined in the tender documents.
The tender documents are available via Biddingo commencing on April 21, 2026. On May 12, 2026, at 3:30 PM the tender will be opened, and the total amounts will be read publicly.
The Township of South Stormont, at its own discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any compliant or non-compliant bids and advises that the lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
Questions will be received until 11:59:59pm on May 1st, 2026, and shall be submitted through Biddingo.
