SDG Counties Launches 2026 Regional Incentives Program
SDG Counties is pleased to announce the launch of its 2026 Regional Incentives Program (RIP), a key economic development initiative designed to encourage business expansion, job creation, and long-term investment across the region.
The 2026 RIP officially launches today, Monday, Jan. 26, opening the application period for eligible businesses and developers seeking financial incentives to support new construction, expansion, or redevelopment projects within SDG Counties. The program offers a range of incentives aimed at strengthening the local economy, revitalizing communities, and enhancing the region’s competitiveness.
Completed RIP applications must be submitted no later than Friday, March 13, at 4:30 p.m. Applications will be reviewed by the RIP Approvals Committee. Successful applicants will then be recommended for final consideration by SDG County Council.
If approved by council, funding approval letters will be issued in May.
SDG Counties encourages eligible applicants to review program guidelines carefully and begin preparing their applications early. Full program details, eligibility criteria, and application materials are available at www.sdgcounties.ca/regional-incentives-programs.
Through the Regional Incentives Program, SDG Counties continues its commitment to fostering sustainable economic development and supporting businesses that contribute to the vitality and prosperity of local communities.
