Township Holiday Hours and Schedule Changes

As we head into the holiday season, we want to remind residents of the following changes to hours and service schedules:

The Township Offices will be closed from December 24 at noon to January 5 for the holidays. 

There will be some changes to regular garbage and recycling collection over the holidays for some residents.

• Jan. 2 collected Jan. 3

Real Christmas Trees will be collected throughout the Township between January 5 to January 16. Christmas tree collection may not occur on your regular collection date. We ask residents to leave their trees at the curb, and they will be collected. 

Please ensure all tinsel and other decorations are removed from the trees before placing at the curb. Ensure trees are kept off of the roadway and are not stuck in snow or ice. 

The Trillium Road Landfill will be closed on Friday, December 26. 

The Long Sault Arena will be closed select days over the holidays.
