Adopt a Road

The Township of South Stormont has established an Adopt-A-Road Program whereby volunteer groups enter a contract with the municipality to clean up certain Township roads or streets.

Under this program, groups or individuals commit to adopt a section of Township road and perform twice yearly litter and debris cleanups. In return, the municipality will provide safety training, safety vests, garbage bags and collect the garbage bags when complete.

Upon the successful second cleanup in the first year of adoption, the Township erects a sign on the adopted roadway to acknowledge their efforts.

Complete the Adopt-A-Road Program form below to express interest in participating in the program.
