Beach Advisory in Effect - Lakeview Waterfront Park Beach

The Lakeview Waterfront Park beach (also known as Avonmore Beach), located at the intersection of County Road 2 and Avonmore Road, has been posted by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit due to higher than normal bacteria levels in the water.

Swimming is not recommended at this time and should be avoided until testing confirms the water is safe.

The Eastern Ontario Health Unit will continue to monitor the beach and collect water samples. The Township will provide an update as soon as bacteria levels return to a safe range and the advisory is lifted.
