Sewer Flushing Notice - Long Sault and Ingleside

As part of the Township of South Stormont’s preventative maintenance program, crews will be conducting sanitary sewer flushing in the villages of Long Sault and Ingleside starting today. The areas scheduled for sanitary sewer main flushing are highlighted in the photos below.

What residents can expect:

• Temporary noise from flushing equipment
• Occasional gurgling sounds from drains or toilets
• As a precaution, residents are encouraged to keep toilet seat lids closed while sewer flushing is taking place.

This important maintenance helps keep our sewer system operating efficiently and reduces the risk of blockages and backups.
