Group Purchasing

Surplus Equipment and Vehicles
Occasionally, the Township may deem equipment and/or other goods as surplus and those items are disposed of through a public auction. Items are typically sold “as is” and “where is” and there is no warranty or guarantee. All available auction items are advertised on the GovDeals website.
Procurement By-law
The Procurement By-law aims to state the Township's goals and objectives for procurement activities, explain the roles, responsibilities, and authority of the Council and Township's officers and employees in procurement, and follow the rules of subsection 270(1) of the Municipal Act and relevant trade treaties.
RFT No. 18-2026: Road Reconstruction of Moulinette Island Road - East Island Causeway

The Township of South Stormont is requesting bids for the Road Reconstruction of Moulinette Island Road – East Island Causeway), in accordance with the specifications outlined in the tender documents.
The tender documents are available via Biddingo commencing on April 10th, 2026.
The Township of South Stormont, at its own discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any compliant or non- compliant submission and advises that the lowest or any quotations will not necessarily be accepted.
Questions will be received until 11:59pm on April 23rd, 2026, and shall be submitted through Biddingo. The Township reserves the right to distribute any and all questions (anonymously) and answers pertaining to this RFT by addenda. The final addendum, if applicable, will be issued on April 27th, 2026 through Biddingo.

RFQ No. 17-2026: Professional Services for Long Sault Water Pollution Control Plant Expansion

The Corporation of the Township of South Stormont (Township) is calling for proposals to undertake an Environmental Assessment Schedule ‘C’ and Preliminary Design for the Long Sault Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) currently located on Robin Road in the Hamlet of Long Sault.
The tender documents are available via Biddingo commencing on March 18, 2026.
Tenders are subject to a formal contract being prepared and executed. The Township of South Stormont, at its own discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any compliant or non-compliant tenders and advises that the lowest or any quotations will not necessarily be accepted.
