Committee of Adjustment Meeting: April 20th, 2026

A Committee of Adjustment Hearing will be held on Monday, April 20th, 2026, at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers.

The following applications are scheduled to be heard:

A-2026-01: 2 Forrester Way

To obtain relief from sections 2.5 and 2.12 of By-Law #2024-016 To Regulate Fences and Swimming Pool Enclosures and permit the following:

  1. Encroachment of the proposed fence over a Township Easement for Drain Maintenance and Access described as Part 1 on Reference Plan 52R-8643.

A-2026-02: 17536 McPhail Road

To obtain relief from section 13.1(b) of Zoning By-Law #2011-100 and permit the following:

  1. Reduce the Minimum Lot Area in the Salvage Yard Zone from 5 hectares to the proposed severed lot area of 4.54 hectares
  2. Reduce the Side Yard Setback in the Salvage Yard Zone from 37.5 metres to the proposed 19.77 metres.
  3. Recognize the Existing Front Yard Setback of 23.34 metres, which does not meet the minimum front yard setback in the Salvage Yard Zone of 37.5 metres.

To obtain relief from section 10.1(b)(iv) of Zoning By-Law #2011-100 and permit the following:

  1. Reduce the Minimum Lot Frontage for a single detached dwelling in the Agricultural Zone from 30 metres to 12 metres.

To obtain relief from section 3.17 (b) of Zoning By-Law #2011-100 and permit the following:

  1. Reduce the Minimum Distance Separation II Formulae between a new livestock barn and an existing settlement area boundary from 236 metres to 120 metres.

To obtain relief from section 5.8 (b)(ii) of Zoning By-Law #2011-100 and permit the following:

  1. Reduce the Minimum Rear Yard Setback for a single detached dwelling in the Rural Residential Private Services – First Zone from 9 metres to 3 metres.

To obtain relief from section 5.1 (b)(ii) of Zoning By-Law #2011-100 and permit the following:

  1. Reduce the Minimum Lot Frontage for a single detached dwelling in the Residential Serviced – First Zone from 15 metres to 13.5 metres.
