Canadian Tire Jumpstart – Recreation Subsidy for Children

Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation. They help cover registration, equipment and/or transportation costs. Children select their own activities reflecting their individual interests and physical needs. They have supported involvement in more than 60 sports and recreation activities, including hockey, swimming, soccer, dance, yoga, climbing, martial arts, and basketball.

Ménard Safety Courses is a proud training partner of the Canadian Red Cross.

Adults and children in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region have benefited from their safety courses since 1995. Their goal is to provide reliable and professional health and safety service to individuals, businesses, organizations and schools, and this, in both official languages. They are proud to give back to their community by supporting secondary schools in the region through scholarships.

The purpose of these co-ed camps is to introduce, develop and improve players knowledge and skills in basketball. Primary coach Terry McDonald.

Registration Cost: $50 per child

Program Dates: July 20 to 24

Ages 8 – 11 yrs

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Ages 12 – 16 yrs

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Finch Youth Broomball E-mail

A relaxed outdoor volleyball program that teaches fundamental skills while encouraging teamwork and active play. Youth participate in enjoyable drills and friendly matches.

Registration Cost: $50 per child

Program Dates: Tuesdays, June 16 - July 28

Location: Ingleside Community Park, 60 Farran Drive 

Ages 11-13 yrs.

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ages 14-16 yrs.

Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Authentic karate with black belts who have competed and coached at the international level and are registered in Japan.

Location: Lancer Centre, 1 College St. in Ingleside

House League Basketball - Ages 10-14

This house league is to introduce players to competitive basketball. Not all rules are strictly followed as it is still introductory basketball.

*There are no separate age divisions. Ages 10-14 play all together as we do not have enough interest to make enough teams for more than one age group.

Fall Session: September 22 to December 8

Winter Session: January 19 to April 13

Time: 5:30-6:30 p.m. or 6:30-7:30 p.m. (alternating weekly game schedule)

Location: Lancer Centre, 1 College St. in Ingleside 

Cost: $50 per session

Tiny Tots, Learn to Skate, Cantest, Junior/Senior and Adult Learn to Skate  

Age: 3 to 18+ 

Registration Dates: Tuesday, September 15th and Thursday, September 17th

Time: 7:00-8:00pm both nights 

Where: Long Sault Arena, 60 Mille Roches Rd., Long Sault 

 

All Programs are 25 weeks long. The first night of skating is on Monday, September 21st, 2026. Programs are every Monday.  

Tiny Tots is a 30 minute program. 

Learn to Skate is a 50 minute program.  

Adult Skate is a 50 minute program  

Jr/Sr is a 1 hour and 30 minute program.
