Please be advised that the Township has received notice that beginning April 1, 2024, Dafoe Road, Ingleside, will be closed at 14531 Dafoe Road for maintenance being performed by Trans-Northern Pipeline Inc. for approximately 4-6 weeks. Please note the following:

  • There will be NO through-traffic permitted at the dig site.
  • Civic addresses ranging between 14194 Dafoe Road – 14530 Dafoe Road must enter and exit at the intersection of Dafoe Road and Aultsville Road.

RRCA Watershed Conditions: Water Safety Statement

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) is issuing a Water Safety Statement for the RRCA jurisdiction.
The current short-term weather forecast indicates that a low-pressure system will bring widespread rain across southern Ontario this weekend. At this point, there is still uncertainty regarding rainfall amounts, however, total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm with higher amounts possible are forecasted.

Half-Load Restrictions Begin

It’s still the middle of February, but thanks to some unseasonably mild conditions SDG Counties will begin its half-load season just a bit early.

Half-load season in our region will come into effect on Wednesday, Feb. 21 – a full three weeks ahead of schedule.

The reason is pretty evident when one checks the recent temperatures that we’ve experienced in our region. Despite some recent snow, this winter has been pretty accomodating thus far.

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) is issuing a Water Safety Statement for the RRCA jurisdiction.
