Swimming Lesson Online Registration will open on Monday, June 7 at 12:00 p.m. Registration will close the Friday before the session starts at 12:00 p.m. or once the lesson has reached capacity. Limited spaces are available. See swimming lesson information. If you do not have an account with our registration software please be sure to create one in order to register.  

Public Swim will begin on June 26 and online registration will be required for all sessions this summer. Registration will be open Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. to Friday at 12:00 p.m. for the upcoming week of sessions (Saturday to Friday). All Swim Kids Animal Levels 

Swim Kids Levels 1-10 

Bronze classes and private lessons will not be offered at our facility this summer. Bronze courses are still taking place at the City of Cornwall. 

*As per the new requirements that have been put in place for Red Cross swim lessons due to Covid-19, parents are required in the pool for all animal levels and Swim Kids Levels 1-4. If these rules change throughout the summer, we will adjust our programming accordingly. 

 

Session 1 - July 5 to 16

Session 4 - August 16 to 27

Session 5 - Saturdays beginning July 3 to August 28

REFUNDS: Aquatic programs may be cancelled due to COVID, pro-rated refunds will apply. If at any point throughout the session you cannot attend and complete the session due to COVID-19 related reasons, full refunds will apply. 


SAFE RETURN TO AQUATICS

  • All participants and parents/guardians must complete this self-assessment tool before attending Township of South Stormont programs.
  • It is recommended that participants arrive and leave with their swim attire on.
  • One parent/guardian per child may come to the lesson (no extra spectators permitted). Exceptions will be made for families with multiple siblings.
  • All participants and parents/guardians may only come to the facility 15 minutes before their lesson time and must leave within 15 minutes after their lesson.
  • Everyone must sign in at the entrance to the pool upon arrival to ensure all contact tracing protocols are being met.
  • Masks are required when not physically distanced.
  • Congregating will not be permitted, physical distancing must be maintained at all times with the exception of those within the same household.
  • PARENT REQUIRED IN POOL - Red Cross Swim Kids Levels 1-4 and all Preschool Animal Levels MUST BE ASSISTED BY A PARENT or guardian while in the pool. Lifeguards will not come into physical contact with participants during lessons. It is the responsibility of the parent to keep the child safe while the lifeguard teaches from the side of the pool, or physically distanced while in the pool. 
 Public Swim Information

Online registration is required for all public swim sessions this summer. If you sign up for a public swim time and can no longer attend, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department. 

Only those that are registered may come to the facility with the exception of one parent per child

 Pool Rentals 

Do you want to rent the pool for a birthday party or family gathering? The pool is available for rentals on Saturday and Sundays in July and August from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department to inquire about pool availability. 

Cost: $60 per hour, includes lifeguards
