Summer Events Program

Summer is finally here! South Stormont residents can join us for lots of AWESOME activities. Check out our list of events below for more details. We cannot wait to spend the summer with you!

Registration is required for most events. Registration will open 2 weeks prior to the event at 12:00 p.m. and will close 1 week before the event. Spaces are limited. Some events have multiple sessions in order to accommodate more participants. Please only register for one session per event. 

*Please only register participants, parents do not need to register. Our program capacities have accounted for parents attending the program.

 Canada Day - July 1

Join us for the best Canada Day yet! Face paint, games, vendors, and more!

 Beach Day - July 4

Welcome to summer! Come on down to Beach Day for some fun in the sun! There will be a sand castle building contest, water games, and freezies. Wear a bathing suit and sunscreen. Registration will open June 20th and close June 27th.

 Chalk Art - July 5

Help us decorate the paved path in Long Sault! You don't want to miss this fun-filled morning! Registration will open June 21st and close June 28th.

 Tie Dye Day - July 7 - $5

Brighten up a white t-shirt on Tie Dye day! Using our wide range of colors you can make your shirt unique. Can’t wait to see you there! Registration will open June 23rd and close June 30th.

Session 1: 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Session 2: 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 Splash Pad - July 10

Come cool off at the splash pad! There will be water-balloons and freezies! Registration will open June 26th and close July 3rd.

Time: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 Capture the Flag - July 11

Run on down to decorate your team's flag. Then demonstrate your athletic skills as you protect it. Don't forget your running shoes and water bottle. Registration will open June 27th and close July 4th.

Spooky Halloween - July 13

Let's have some skele-fun together! We have lots of tricks up our sleeves and treats for you to eat! Registration will open June 29th and close July 6th.

 Soccer Baseball - July 17

Roll, kick, run! Come demonstrate your skills in this epic showdown!! Registration will open July 3rd and close July 10th.

Mad Science - July 19 - $2

Everyone’s a mad scientist, and life is their lab! Join us for some awesome experiments that are sure to impress! Registration will open July 5th and close July 12th.

 Erin Lee - July 20

Join us for a read aloud hosted by local author Erin Lee! Registration will open July 6th and close July 13th.

Mmm cookies! Are you ready for this delicious contest? Registration will open July 7th and close July 14th.

 Wild Wild West Fest - July 25

Howdy partner! Y'all should come on down the old town road to spend an afternoon playing wild games with us. Giddy up! Registration will open July 11th and close July 18th.

 Bike Day - July 26

Peddle over to bike day! Don't forget your bicycle, helmet, and water! We will have freezies! Registration will open July 12th and close July 19th.

 Teddy Bear Picnic - July 27 - $2

Bring your favorite stuffed animal down to the teddy bear picnic! We are beary excited for this event! Snacks will be provided. Registration will open July 13th and close July 20th.

Giant Slip n' Slide - July 28 - $2

Join us as we slip n' slide down the biggest hill in town. Bring your bathing suit and sunscreen! Registration will open July 14th and close July 21st.

Splash Pad - August 1

 Exploring Nature - August 2

Calling all wilderness explorers! The Raisin Region Conservation Authority will be joining us as we investigate macroinvertebrate samples. Registration will open July 19th and close July 26th.

Craft Day - August 3

We want to see everyone's creative side at this event! South Stormont artists will love this crafty afternoon! Registration will open July 20th and close July 27th.

Little Ray's Reptiles - August 8 - $5

Slither on over to meet our scaly friends. Prepare yourself for a fun and educational show. Registration will open July 25th and close August 1st.

Princess Tea Party - August 9 - $2

We are requesting the honour of your presence at our par-tea! Formal wear is encouraged. Registration will open July 26th and close August 2nd.

Amazing Race - August 10

The teams will embark on a race around the Ingleside park for an exciting prize! Bring your running shoes, water, and brain power. Registration will open July 27th and close August 3rd.

Summer Olympics - August 11

It's-a-me, Mario! Join us for some SUPER fun Mario activities! Let's-a-go! Registration will open August 1st and close August 8th.

Stay cozy in your jammies and enjoy breakfast with us! You don't want to miss this yummy morning! Registration will open August 9th and close August 16th.

Movie Under the Stars - August 25

Join us for a family-friendly movie to celebrate another great summer in South Stormont! Donations will be accepted upon arrival. We will be showing The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
