Please note that the water has been shut off on Saunders Avenue from Strachan Avenue to St. Laurent Avenue lasting approximately 5 hours for an emergency water main repair.
Other areas of the village of Long Sault may experience low water pressure while we make repairs.

Township Office Holiday Closures

The Township Office will be closed from December 23 at noon until Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
On behalf of Council and Staff, we wish everyone a very happy holidays season and wish you all the very best in the coming year!
Important Waste Management Information- There will be NO CHANGES to regular garbage and recycling collection schedules over the holidays.
- The Trillium Road Landfill will be closed at noon on Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Years Eve (January 31).

Online voting and advanced polls are now open for the 2022 Municipal Elections and will continue until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24th.
Voting OnlineTo vote online, you will need the online voting web address and your unique PIN number. Both of these can be found on your Voter Information Letter that was mailed to you.

Canada Day Celebrations and Office Closure

The Township Office will be closed on Friday, July 1 for Canada Day.
Due to the holiday, garbage and recycling collection scheduled for Friday July 1 will be collected on Saturday, July 2.
The Trillium Road Landfill will be closed on Friday, July 1, but will re-open for regular hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 2.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has confirmed cases of highly pathogenic influenza (H5N1) in Ontario.
