Watermain Break on Saunders Avenue

Please note that the water has been shut off on Saunders Avenue from Strachan Avenue to St. Laurent Avenue lasting approximately 5 hours for an emergency water main repair.

Other areas of the village of Long Sault may experience low water pressure while we make repairs.

Township Office Holiday Closures

The Township Office will be closed from December 23 at noon until Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

• There will be NO CHANGES to regular garbage and recycling collection schedules over the holidays. 
• The Trillium Road Landfill will be closed at noon on Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Years Eve (January 31).

2022 Municipal Elections Voting Period Now Open

Online voting and advanced polls are now open for the 2022 Municipal Elections and will continue until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24th.

Canada Day Celebrations and Office Closure

The Township Office will be closed on Friday, July 1 for Canada Day. 

Due to the holiday, garbage and recycling collection scheduled for Friday July 1 will be collected on Saturday, July 2. 

The Trillium Road Landfill will be closed on Friday, July 1, but will re-open for regular hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 2.
