Fickes Road Closure March 29th, 2022

Please be advised that Fickes Road in Long Sault will be closed from Stratford Blvd to Chantine Drive on Tuesday, March 29th from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to facilitate sewer repairs.

Road Closure: Hoople Seventh Road, Newington

Please be advised, Hoople Seventh Road in Newington will be closed between Helmer Road and MacRae Road on October 15th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm for culvert replacements.

Savings Street, Newington Closure October 2021

Please be advised, Saving Street in Newington will be closed between County Road 14 and Rush City Road on October 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th, and 14th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm for culvert replacements.

Valade Road Closure to Continue Until Further Notice

Please note that the Valade Road closure at the Raisin River Bridge in St. Andrews West will remain closed until further notice to complete the project. Notice will be provided on southstormont.ca and across Township social media accounts when repairs are complete and the bridge is re-opened.

Valade Road Closure Beginning May 31

Please take notice that Valade Road at the Raisin River Bridge is planned to close as of Monday, May 31, 2021. 

The closure, which is required to repair the Raisin River Bridge, will be in effect for approximately 10 weeks. A detour route will be in place via County Road 18 and will be marked with appropriate signage.
