Road Closure: Headline Road West

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) will close Headline Road West between Highway 138 and Charlotte Avenue from July 2 to August 28, 2025 to construct a roundabout at the Highway 138 intersection.

Access to Headline Road West will be detoured via Power Dam Drive (County Road 33), County Road 18 and Cornwall Centre Road.

Eamer Road Closure - Wednesday, September 11

Please be advised that Eamer Road will be closed from the intersection of Eamer Road and Northfield Road to the intersection of Eamer Road and County Road 15 Wednesday, September 11 from 9:00am until 4:00pm for a culvert replacement. No through traffic will be permitted.

Lawson Road Closure - September 3

Please be advised that Lawson Road will be closed on Tuesday, September 3 from 9:30am until 4:00pm for a culvert replacement. No through traffic will be permitted.

Civic addresses ranging from 4604 Lawson Road to 4710 Lawson Road will need to enter and exit at the intersection of Lawson Road and Myers Road. Civic addresses ranging from 4720 Lawson Road to 4762 Lawson Road will need to enter and exit at the intersection of Lawson Road and Maloney Road.

Cornwall Centre Road Paving - August 14

Please be advised that paving operations on Cornwall Centre Road between Brookdale Ave. and Highway 138 is expected to continue on Wednesday, August 14th. 

Travellers on this roadway should expect delays and are asked to consider alternative routes to limit the expected congestion. 

The City of Cornwall is hopeful to complete these operations late Wednesday evening.

Rombough Road Closure - Tuesday, May 28

Please be advised that Rombough Road will be closed between the intersection of County Road 18 and Rombough Road and the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Rombough Road on Tuesday, May 28 from 8:00am until 4:00pm for a culvert replacement. Through traffic will NOT be permitted. Civic Addresses 4700 - 4720 Rombough Road will be required to enter and exit at the intersection of Rombough Road and Pleasant Valley Road.
