Letter In Response to Boil Water Advisory Communications

In response to concerns the Township received regarding the communication for the recent Boil Water Advisory issued for the villages of Ingleside and Osnabruck Centre, Mayor Bryan McGillis and CAO Debi LucasSwitzer have issued the following letter to residents and business owners.

Township Office Re-opens June 14

Effective Monday, June 14, 2021, the Township of South Stormont municipal office will reopen to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to continue contacting Township staff by email and telephone, and utilizing our online services where possible. Valade Road Closure Beginning May 31

Please take notice that Valade Road at the Raisin River Bridge is planned to close as of Monday, May 31, 2021

The closure, which is required to repair the Raisin River Bridge, will be in effect for approximately 10 weeks. A detour route will be in place via County Road 18 and will be marked with appropriate signage.
