Township Adopts 2021 Operating and Capital Budgets

CFDC Announces Creation of COVID-19 Business Relief Advisor

Cornwall & The Counties Community Futures Development Corporation is pleased to announce that through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) provided by FedDev Ontario we have contracted a bilingual, temporary, full-time COVID-19 Business Relief Advisor to assist business owners throughout Akwesasne, Cornwall, and the United Counties of S.D. & G. South Stormont, ON - The Township of South Stormont has received a vote of confidence from the Board of Directors of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) after they have approved a conceptual vision for the development of strategic waterfront locations.

Township Office Easter Closure 2024

The Township Office will be closed on Friday, March 29 for Good Friday and on Monday, April 1 for Easter Monday. 

Please note that there will be NO CHANGES to garbage and recycling collection due to the holidays. 

The Trillium Road Landfill will be closed on Friday, March 29 and re-open for regular business hours on Saturday, March 30. 

Please note that due to the holiday, Interim Tax Bills are due on Thursday, March 28.
