South Stormont is once again the place to be to celebrate Canada Day! There will be two exciting events lined up for celebrations, capped off with a spectacular fireworks display along the Long Sault Waterfront!

Office Closure

The Township Office will be closed on Tuesday, July 1st for Canada Day. There will be NO CHANGES to garbage and recycling collection due to the holiday. 

Lost Villages Museum Celebrations

From 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. join the community at the Lost Villages Museum for live music, children's activities, food, vendors and more! Little Ray's Reptiles will also be on hand at 1:30 p.m. with some critters to see and learn about!

Arnold Bethune Park Celebrations

The festivities continue at Long Sault's Arnold Bethune Park from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Join the fun at the Ingleside Long Sault Lost Villages Lion's Club Olde Fashioned Carnival! With live music by Tri-County Country Music Association, inflatable bouncy castles, train rides, face painting, balloons, and lots of vendors for food, drink and wares. 

Fireworks!

Once again, the Long Sault sky will be lit up with a spectacular fireworks display! Fireworks are set off along the waterfront south of County Road 2 in Long Sault, across from the Long Sault Plaza. Fireworks will be set off at dusk!
