Ontario has temporarily moved into Step Two of its Roadmap to Reopen with modifications that take into account the province’s vaccination efforts. These measures will help blunt COVID transmission and prevent hospitals from becoming overwhelmed. You can find out more about the provincial directive here: https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1001394/ontario-temporarily-moving-to-modified-step-two-of-the-roadmap-to-reopen

What does this mean for Township services?

The Township Office and all indoor recreation facilities will be closed to the public until January 31, 2022, pending provincial direction.

While the physical buildings may be closed to walk-in traffic, staff remain available to assist by telephone or by email. You can find a full list of Township staff contacts from our Contact Us Page.

A number of Township services are also available online and we encourage you to visit our Applications, Licenses and Permits Page to view the services you can access online.

Outdoor recreation facilities remain open. Please follow public health guidelines when using public spaces.

Any updates on facility re-openings will be made at www.southstormont.ca and on Township social media accounts.
