NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS REGARDING NOXIOUS WEEDS

Under the Weed Control Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter W.5 Section 3, 13, 16 and 23, you are requested to destroy all noxious weeds on your property.

Township Office Re-opens June 14

Effective Monday, June 14, 2021, the Township of South Stormont municipal office will reopen to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to continue contacting Township staff by email and telephone, and utilizing our online services where possible. Valade Road Closure Beginning May 31

Please take notice that Valade Road at the Raisin River Bridge is planned to close as of Monday, May 31, 2021. 

The closure, which is required to repair the Raisin River Bridge, will be in effect for approximately 10 weeks. A detour route will be in place via County Road 18 and will be marked with appropriate signage.

Township to Receive Funding to Help Complete Six Park Improvement Projects

The Township of South Stormont will receive funding through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) that will help see six park improvement projects come to fruition across the Township. In total, the ICIP funding will cover 74% of the project costs.
