Divisions for children born in 2009 to 2018

June 1 to July 28 (Timbit division will begin June 9)

Timbits (2018)

  • Every child is required to have a parent or guardian who is able to assist them on the field
  • This program is an introduction to the game and will include fun games and drills 
  • Sessions will be 30 minutes and start times will rotate between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday Evenings
  • Longue Sault Public School - Field 1 or 1A
  • Players will receive a ball, team soccer and soccer shorts 
  • All other soccer equipment is optional at this level

 

2017 Division

  • Games will be 30 minutes and start times will rotate between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. 
  • This age category will be broken up into two divisions
  • Once teams and divisions are made, it will be determined which night of the week you will be playing, it could be Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. You will continue to play the same night of the week for the remainder of the session. 
  • Field 6 

 

2016 

  • Games will be 45 minutes and start times will rotate between 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. 
  • Tuesday evenings 
  • Field 5

 

2015 

  • Games will be 60 minutes and will be at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Wednesday Evenings
  • Field 2 or Field 5

 

2014 

  • Games will be 60 minutes and start times will rotate between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. 
  • Tuesday evenings
  • Field 4

 

2012/2013

  • Games will be 60 minutes and start times will rotate between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. 
  • Tuesday evenings
  • Field 3

 

2009/2010/2011

  • Games will be 60 minutes and start times will rotate between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. 
  • Tuesday evenings
  • Field 1

 

SAFE PLAY DURING COVID

  • One parent/guardian per child may come to the field (no extra spectators permitted)
  • All players and parents/guardians may only come to the field 15 minutes before their game and must leave within 15 minutes after their game
  • Everyone that attends the program (parents/guardians and players) must pass the
    self-assessment tool before coming to the field
  • All players must sign in with their coach upon arrival to ensure contact tracing protocols are being met
  • Masks must be worn unless physically distanced and/or engaged in sport
  • Congregating will not be permitted, physical distancing must be maintained at all times unless engaged in sport.
  • Please use designated parking area listed above to avoid overcrowding
  • Rules and protocols may change throughout the program, updates will be sent via email
  • If rules are not being followed, the program will be cancelled.

9 Week Program 

 

Junior Division

  • For those born in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
  • Thursday evenings - June 3 to July 29
    • The July 1 one will take place on Tues. June 9
  • Games will be 45 minutes and will rotate start times between 6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. 
  • Mandatory Evaluation June 3 - details will be emailed upon registration 

 

Senior Division 

  • For those born in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009
  • Wednesday evenings - June 2 to July 28 
  • Games will be 45 minutes and will rotate start times between 6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. 
  • Mandatory Evaluation June 2 - details will be emailed upon registration 

 

EQUIPMENT
Team jerseys will be supplied for the season, however each player MUST supply their own equipment (i.e. stick, helmet with cage, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, jock, running shoes). Only a regular hockey stick shall be used, plastic hockey sticks will not be permitted. Most players use a soccer style shin pad and either hockey or broom ball gloves. Players without a helmet and cage will not
